Replacing the rear axel

Hey guys im currently looking at a 95 240 5spd, but of course theres a coupla problems with it. We narrowed it down to either the rear axel or the tranny. If its the axel then i was going to rebuild it all together and put kaaz on it and of course do the 5 lug conversion. Got any tips, info you wanna spill, or sites that you know that have performed any of these swaps feel free to post or just post your opinions.

posi trac HAHAHA this aint no chevy.

What are the symptoms?

There are 2 rear axels not one it is not a live axel.

I though there was a 5 lug thread on this forum check suspension section.
