s13 auto pilot bearing removal?

I am currently doing a manual swap on my 89 fastback but I cant get the auto pilot bearing out. Does anybody know how to remove the auto pilot bearing? Can I use this bearing on my manual tranny? I am about to give up taking this bearing out cause its like seized in there.

Are you talking about the pilot bushing? Its just a little sleeve that sits in the crank? If so, they make a tool. But, if you don't want to buy it, you can take a flat tip screw driver and chisel it into 2-3 pieces and pull it out.

Just pack the area behind it with grease. Get a bar that fits snug into the bushing. Insert bar into bushing & hit it with a hammer. The grease will force the bushing out.
It's much better than spending $50+ on a slide hammer.
