trans swapping questions
 

hey im in the process of doing a auto to manual conversion and the manual trans mount wont work the the auto crossmember. does any one have a fix for this other then buying a new crossmember. i cant find any info on this anywhere.

When I did the swap we just changed the mount braket.

mount bracket? which one i got a manual trans mount and it didnt fit into the auto crossmember

You have to switch the auto crossmember to the 5 speed one.

I looked at them when i did the swap and i tried to fit the auto one it didn't work at all.

ok not to be a dick or anything....because i really apreciate the help...but i know i need a new cressmember does anyone have one for sale.

i have established the fact the the automatic one wont work...i even mentioned that in my first post on this thread.

not to be a dick or anything, but did you try searching the for sale thread? There's a few S14's parting out... not to mention for sale threads on other forums too.
