240sx 2,4l single cam? swap twin cam?

i have an 240sx , 1989 model 2,4l , manual , no turbo nothing , i was just wondering if its possible to drop an sr20det twin cam head on it? im planing on adding an greddy turbo later on , but i was more thinking about the head then anything else , its only a single cam head , im paying the 240sx 1000$ , i have about 2000$ of total budget , what cam i add to have more hp , i was thiking about headers , turbo ready , and ccomplete exhaust line with cat back ,

but my main question is , IS IT POSSIBLE TO SWAP TO A TWIN CAM a 2,4l single cam 240sx??? if so .... WICH HEAD CAM I BUY!!

Anyone care to translate this?

Does he want to put the SR head on the SOHC KA? Which head cam I buy!! What the hell does that mean?

uhh.. heres a great idea, buy a newer 240 with a ka24de!, the d means dual overhead cam!! isn't it 91's and up with ka24de?? it'll cost you a lot less than a head swap(difference in price) but if you really want to your best bet would be a head from a s13 ka24de

i have that model , i dont realy think its an v6 , its cause i dont realy have the car yet , and i live prety far from where its sold , so i was just wondering if that kinda car is good for drifting , the guy sels it for 1000$ , everything is in good shape part the body .

my question is , what engine to i have ,

The 240SX is NOT a V6, never was an option. The 1989 240SX came with the KA24E, SOHC motor.

yep ka24e, i'd advise getting a 91 or newer with a ka24de, they're easier for sr swap too, 95 and newer are s14 models

Holy $hit, i'm lost. But from the looks of it, you need to spend endless nights researching more 240sx stuff. And slow down when typing.

hahahahaa who does that or even say something so stupid.
