Alright well the time has come for me to major mods to my 1987 nissan maxima , Witch i dont have yet i have to go pick it up in nc some time this week... But i do have a 1988 maxima sitting my drive way.

Any ways , I have a few options.

1. FWD SR20DET 4 Cyl , Does any one know if the tranny for this FWD version any good?

2. Turbo the current FWD VG30E V6

3. FWD CA18DET 4 Cyl


Witch do you think would be the best to go with?

And if you where me and you lived in PA , USA where would you order the motor from?

 

I'd turbo the VG30, but thats just me.

yeah thats what i was thinking just turbo the VG , Or swap a VQ 3.5 or 3.0 and turbo / supercharge that.

Now that would be mean.


And yeah im moving to pa in a few days , 2 car huge garadge , Its really a step up for me .
