Question 89 hatch and sr and rb20 differences???

Now ive been searching around on here and NICO on the sr and rb20 swaps. Now, i have a 89 hatch and theres a couple things that need to be changed for the sr to fit, like the powersteering resovoir and high pressure line has to be changed out and you need a 91 and newer guage cluster for the wiring. I was wondering if you need to do the same thing with the rb20? Ive looked at some directions for the rb20 swap and it doesnt mention this procedure. I already have to convert the car from auto to man. and if this step need to be done i will go ahead and do it while im doing the auto to man. swap. If anybody have any information on this please let me know.

same thing for the PS line. and the pump needs to be converted. you cant use the tach out of a SOHC stock. it needs to be taken from a skyline, or RKcarguy was workin on a way to make the stocktach work. I guess we will have to wait and see about that, hopefully it works out.
You will need RB mounts or the skyline engine crossmember. because you need to move the RB front a few inches so it clears the firewall. RB mounts you can get from a few places; McKinney motorsports ($400-$600), top hat performance($350 +shipping) JGYcustoms (same as tophat price)
I have them for $250+shipping. so just remember to add that in when you are thinking about a swap. If you dont have a manual trans car, you will prob want to go with a clip not a motor swap. if you have any more questions let me know at: iroc_07@yahoo.com
