Ca18det
I honestly love the CA18det. I would rather have that motor than an SR20DET since it is hlaf the price, and you can mod the hell out of it just like the SR motor. Plus, if you're drifting, you don't need huge power to make 'big smokies...'
I helped my buddy with his and in my opinion, it was about the same as an SR. Then again I was doing the mechanical things. But I've been present during the wiring of CA's, SR's, and RB's and the CA's and SR's seem the same amount of time and effort. Just make sure to have a good diagram of the wires. If you are serious shoot me an email and I'll see what I can dig up from his CA project files.

Wiring is should be the last thing on your mind about a CA, dont forget that parts are hard to come by and cost tons more.
Most of the CA swaps i see are really ghetto. You only get and engine set you dont really get front clips.
SR is the smarter choice.
