Custom RB25DET mounts??

Ok Ive been searching all the boards and googling this for a good 3 days now. And even then Im sure someone will find a post about it somewhere..and if so then great cuz I cant find it. Who here has made or knows someone that has made custom rb25det mounts using the stock 240sx crossmember? I have an s14 that Im putting an rb25 in and I really want to avoid paying way too much just for some mount kit that a company makes that I know doesnt cost near that much for them to make as they sell them for. I know it has been done and I know it is fairly easy to do when it comes to making custom rb25 mounts for the 240 using the stock crossmember, I would just like to see some pics or something of what others have done to make theirs. I have the welding skills and I have access to plenty of different grades of steel, aluminum, etc. Any help I can get is much appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Yeah i know of all of the different companys..that just seems like a huge rip-off for that. Im making my custom for sure I just want to see what other people have done.

well... it doesn't work. U have to use the RB crossmember if you want to. Ka doesn't work at all. McKinney makes one. But I used Tophat performance mounts. That's really just the basics of the swap. U gotta have either that or the RB crossmember

U would honestly be spending more money and time trying to make the KA crossmember work. Seems like a waste or time and money to me.

Well money wise I can get all the materials for about $100 if that. Probably a lot less. Time wise...Im not really that worried about that. A friend of mine did an LS1 swap into his s14 and custom made his own mounts...said it wasnt hard at all and he used the factory crossmember.
