A couple of weeks ago I was driving home from work and while I was on the highway my car just shut off. It turned over after that but, it wouldnt start. Later on I found out that my ecu fried. It fried the # 36 pin on my redtop ecu. This pin is for the ignition switch. I checked the ignition switch and it was fine. I replaced it anyway, tried to start the car and it fried the same pin again. My question is has this happened to anybody here?? and if so what was the problem. If not can anyone think of what the problem can be. That day it was raining and the car does leak some water but, i've driven the car in the rain before and nothing like this ever happend before. I took out the wiring harness and will be looking it over during the weekend. I've been driving the car for more than a month with the swap complete and no problems. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. It is very frustrating and upsetting to see my baby just sitting in the street with out me being able to enjoy her.
