Fuel Pump

I hear that you shouldn't run the SR20 on a stock 240sx 1990 Fuel Pump ? is this true

You can run it, but the pump wont last very long at all. Especially if you crank up the boost at all, it will lean out and cause tons of probs. If you havent already, upgrade to a walboro or a 300zx TT fuel pump

Stock fuel pump will be ok if you stick with stock boost, but If you plan to upgrade you will need to upgrade to a better fuel pump.

my advice is to get a TOMEI fuel pump... its adirect drop in, the 300zx fuel pump doesnt fit right in.... you have to make it work.

Should, people have run theyre SR20s and RB20s with a stock fuel pump for quite sometime and never failed on them. Just make sure your stock fuel pump is in good/great working condition

I ran a RB25DET on stock 240SX fuel pump with 10 psi and had ZERO problems and was still running rich. The stock fuel pumps aren't all that bad....just don't test your engine at 15-20psi or you could go lean.
