www.mckinneymotorsports.com They make a kit to put an ls1 into a 240. Much better than that 302.

If i were to ever put any LS motor in a 240, i would do an LS7, because that is the ****. Of course it wouldnt be until i was some rich dude because they cost so much money, but that would be soooo sexy. haha. 500 hp and 450 tq....and then i would twin turbo it. thats just my dream on the subject.

Yeah i got my LS6 with 34000 on it for about 3700. With the exhaust and ecu it was doing 360 horse. But I am upgrading the intake from to 90MM, same as the throttle body and MAF, larger cam and new heads. Should ring in at 450-500. Once that is all well and the car is handeling it all fine I plan on supercharging. if I fall into that 9 grand. At that point i will have to bore and go eagle forged rods and pistons but god I would hope for near 700 horse in a S13. I would have loved a LS7 but yeah 7500 for a short block only no thanks, Plus its a tight fit with the small block as is.

LS7 in a 240 would basically be like a supercar, it would be freakin nuts.

But you would have to upgrade everything about the car basically.

dunno if i can agree with you on the easier part. 302 is carbed and doesnt use a wiring harness or ecu, just need a driveshaft, mounts, tranny, and some other misc stuff for it to run. id take a 302 over ls1 just juz i dont want much power and its a pretty simple motor. id have a quad carb set up with 8 velocity stacks, a cam and a fully rebuilt bottom end and port and polish. easiest way to achieve mad n/a power. id love to build an n/a ka but dont know if i can hang with how much its gonna cost.
