Intercooler

OK! I just got my S14 black top SR20DET for my 95 240SX! The only thing it does not come with is the intercooler and piping. I found one for sale but is from a red top S13. I was hoping someone could tell me if the S13 one would line up with the turbo and intake manifold. Thanks everyone!

The only other thing i forgot to mention is the tight budget I'm on for a bit. I just want the OEM intercooler cause its WAY cheaper.

I believe that the OEM intercooler is a side mount which will run you into miles of piping. Much more of a hassle than it's worth so I've heard. However I could be wrong does the S14 SR come OEM with a side mount or a front mount intercooler. (I searched to no avail on this one.)

The S14 comes factory with a side mount unit. My problem is I have a complete engine(except intercooler) in my garage and I need a cheap way to get it running until I can afford to get an aftermarket FMIC kit. I just need to know if the S13 side mount unit with piping lines up with the S14 tubo and intake manifold. I found a S13 OEM unit (intercooler and piping) for under $200 and would like that to be my quick fix for a bit.

the s14 intercooler is larger and more effective than the s13 one however the piping will work but it could be tough to mount the intercooler behind the wheel well
