Talking My RB20 is ALIVE!!

I'm so happy, I finally got to start my car for the first time since April. She turned over on the second crank and I let it run for about 5 mins. I live in millitary housing and the car doen't have the exhuast on it yet, so it is LOUD. So now I have a couple more things to do then it will be on the road. I'll post times from the track when I get them.

sweet, you beat me to it tho. I'm still plumbing in my turbo, intercooler and downpipe. Getting closer tho, the shop has been busy with people looking at the clips so I only get 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there to play with it. I just got a old Miller 1970's tig welder so at least I can make my own dowpipe and parts now. Tell me about wiring on that plug, was it just the 3 constant and 1 switched +?

As for the wiring I did it just like the rb20 wiring thread said. I had to ask Jon some ?'s but he got me on the right path. It's not as hard as it seems when you read it. I'll take some pics tomorrow, it looks ghetto right now. Haven't cleaned it up yet, got the stuff to do but just haven't yet.

Hey rkcarguy!! Here's a link to the pics I took. Didn't really look at the pics to see how good they are. But it is off all the wires that I had to run and splice. Hope this helps, if not pm me and I'll give you my #.

Hey hows it goin Ruthlesss13? You get out on the road yet with your Rb20? Still messing with my turbo but finally getting closer. Should be heading to the exhaust shop early next week to have the pipes bent for the intercooler and downpipe. Finally got the FMIC mounted after hacking up my silvia bumper a little more than I wanted to:cry:

No it's still not on the road yet. I am out of town right now. So I am and thinking maybe next weekend I might be able to finish it. I'll get pics of it on the road when I do.

i put your hot pipe to work man. my sr is going now. if you get it going in the next 2 weeks you should come down to the super speedway and check out the auto x i'm gonna run my first then. might try to finish installing the bushings i have and bump up the boost a bit. might head up your way and run the hill or somethign to compare my slips to the ole KA. keep up the good work. ps i haven't washed or cleaned mine yet either.

Justin
