need help on ka24de swap

i got a problem. was wondering if anyone out there could help me. I got a 1990 240sx and swapped it out and put a year 96 ka24de into it. i've changed everything to make it run like a 91 to 93 model, but i'm just having problems making it start. it'll just crank but won't start. It has all the grounds, has fuel coming, has ignition, everything to make the car start. I've already connected the wires inside the car, the plug part that won't connect to the 1990 240sx. Anyone know why it's not starting? and i got one more problem, does anyone know how to adjust the timing chain on the car? or can you not adjust it?

well for starters.. you best relax and someone will help sooner or later and meanwhile search and download the FSM. lol set your engine at tdc - top dead center and see if that gets the baby starting.

well, yea i did do that. i set it at tdc, but it's weird every time when i would turn the crankshaft again to see if the marks line up, it wouldn't line up. the mark on the chain would always be behind the mark on the cam spocket. so i don't know if that's suppose to happen or not.

if you only turned it once, thats not TDC again, you have to turn it twice, or else it would be a 2 stroke engine. if you are turning it and it doesnt line up right after 2 turns, that might be timing slop because of a worn chaine. next thing is, did you check and replace the chain before you installed the motor??????? I am gonna go with no, cause nobody ever listens. I have done the same thing, and if not sorry to say but that motor has to come all the way, or most of the way back out again.

do you need the vaccum hoses to be connected in order for the car to run? because i had to change the intake manifold and i didn't install the vacuum hoses, because some of my friends say that i didn't need the vacuum hoses. so i don't know if i need it or not. so do i need it??

so wat year is this? because i'm using a 93 manifold and harness and it doesn't have as many hose pipe as this picture shows. on my manifold if you look at the bottom right picture, it only has 3 hose pipes, it dont look like the one in the picture. and on the top right picture, it has 2 harness sensor that is connected with the hoses, my only has one harness sensor. do you think u have the 93 vacuum pictures? it'll be great if u do.
