i got a s13 sr20det in my '89 240 i've searched everywhere and asked a bunch of people and i still don't know why i can't get a spark. it cranks but no spark. i got power to the ignitor chip, distributor, and coilpacks but no spark. can anyone help

 

make sure that your distibuter wiring is correct, even if it makes spark, it still may not be wired right, did you use the old wiring harness, or did you use on for the sr?

tested the plugs out?

 

i got new iridium denso plugs! Is there any hodden grounds or something, one other thing i noticed is that the color of the aluminum on the base of the distributor is a darker tone than on the head, and when i went to mess with it the bolt was already loose, do you think they could have given me a bruken distributor or something?
