NOOB Nissan Question (sorry)

OK im new to the nissan world and am researching on SR swap on my 89 240. I keep on seeing that they sell just motors with engine tranny ecu etc etc. and they also have clips? whats the difference in the two what does the clip include the site isnt to clear on that, i know on hondas its basically the same swapping in motors, What will i need to put in an sr20det, any help is appreciated, and i searched so dont hate

haha that sucks making him search.. basically.. front clip is a front clip you take apart the clip your self that way you know you got everything.. as far as motor w/ tranny blah blah balh.. it could be just that no rad/ no fan shourd, sometimes not ignitor chip.. i recommend getting a clip.

I agree, personally I bought a clip and had no trouble swapping it in, You need nothing else as long as your careful and dont lose or break anything.

Front clip is the dash forward of a Silvia from Japan. It includes everything you wil need and more. It is recommended because not only will you not be missing anything, but you can also reference off it if u you have a question.

The engine set includes everything that you SHOULD need. Cheaper, but you may run into problems with it.

It sounds like you need to either read up A LOT on this kinda stuff or have a shop swap it for you. Its not for someone that thinks they can do it. You better know you can do it.
