power steering pump Q

will the ka pump werk on the sr

The s13 ka pump will not work on the sr. I'm not sure about the s14 ka pump though. You will need the ka24de(DOHC) power steering lines and the bracket that is on the ka pump that holds the line. That is what I had to do for my swap. S13 Blacktop into 92 240sx w/ka24de.

yes the power sterring pump fromt he s13 will work with the SR, you just have to extend some lines.

You can use the SOHC pump if you extend the lines but there is one big line coming from the reservior to the pump across the front of the block...<<not good! so..get a DOHC pump and lines...much easier...I just ahd this convo with the guy that is doing my sr swap

you can use the ka pump on the sr ( i just did) but you have to use the sr pulley and bracket

Uhh...I take it you didnt understand my write-up. To make it simple, if you have your old SR pump, you can take a dohc pump and swap the brackets and pulley off the sr and put them on the KA pump. You will have to turn the SR pulley around so it lines up with the crank pulley. Understand...
