a problem with the speedometer

I bought this 93 240SX with an SR20, but the speedometer does not work right. It shows higher speed that what I'm actually doing. Was there something needed to be changed or done at the time of the swap? Or do I have to get a new gauge cluster?

Just making sure haha. Could be your speed sensor is out of place and reading it totally wrong.

The Speed Sensor is on the right hand side of the tranny just at the end where the drive shaft comes in.

mine is an open diff, and it is about 10 MPH off. But then also, maybe the previous owner had a the wrong size for the tires, they read 195/60/15, is it the right one?

actually, I think that the tire size is 195/60/15 front, and 205/60/15 rear, and I guess that is the problem. . I still might be wrong though.
