RB tach mod spoof............
 

I've been reading up on the Nico forums about the tach mod. I took a SR tach and sat it side by side with a RB tach. Same circuit board, same chip, same components. There is a adjustable dashpot it's about 9 clock position on the SR tach and about 6 on the RB. You think we are being had by these guys that "modify" the stock tachs for $100+?:angry:

good scam. not saying I support it, but thats a clever person with just the right info. I guess they will have fun while it lasts. I think what you are saying is that you can even use the stock KA tach???? On an SR, RB or whatever, just need to adjust the pot in the back, correct?

I think so, should be able to play with my car more this week. Finally another clip left today and 2 more are shipping out, so I will have some space to work on my car. The SOHC cam won't work because the voltage is different. I'll post here in a day or two having tried it myself.
