I don't have a lot of turbo experience but I've worked on quite a few Nissans... two old maximas, my dad's two sentras, my friends maxima and my s14 and I would say idle issues are pretty common for nissans. Most often is does seems to be linked to IACV, TPS, EGR. I would run seafoam through your IACV and EGR and test all three with a multimeter to see if any of them are bad. Also make sure your ignition system stuff is all working properly (distributor, wires, plugs)

BTW its not a common on nissans, its common on engine types.

if its the iacv it would have erratic idle.

The the tps continuity as well as the maf, and timing make sure it right or the car will not want to run correctly.
