s afc 2 question, please help, thanks
well i just wired in my S AFCII..i know that i wired all of it right, now the throttle signal, battery signal, air/flow signal works perfect, car idles perfect and everything..problem is, there is no reading on the knock sensor, and there is no reading on the rpm signal either..
i havent soldered the wires, basically, i just did my best to twist the wires together and clamped them with a small metal clamp..
has anyone had this problem at all? please throw in your suggestions..thanks. ps, i used the manual to wire it correctly, and i doubled and trippled checked which wires i spliced them into. i wired everything a few inches away from the cpu.

oh yeah, some of the wires are not wired ALL that great, like i said, i havent soldered yet..but there should be a pretty good connection, at least enough to get a signal, i think..
stock tach works, the rpm on the afc works now, i figured out what was wrong with that, i forgot to conect the green wire..but i double checked the knock wire and its on there pretty good, still not working though. i didnt cut the ecu wire, instead i cut away the plastic wire coating and clamped on the knock wire from the afc...doesnt work though..dont know why or how, everything else works perfect though..i was gonna try soldering all the wires, cut the knock signal wire and solder it back on...see if that works, i'll let yall know.
weird thing is though, i didnt solder any other wires...and they work perfect...the rpm is dead on, throttle too...everything is dead on but the knock doesnt read at all..give suggestions if you have any, thanks...and be sure to check out my kyb agx posts..thanks again.
