s13 dyno numbers

I know that a blacktop s13 motor is rated at 205hp at the crank. I have also heard rumors that the blacktop produces as much as 235whp stock! Does anybody have dyno numbers on a stock blacktop? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

i think u got some messed up numbers. No blacktop makes 235whp stock.

Just think if the engine makes 205hp at the flywheel, and it looses power in the drivetrain then how is it gonna have 235 at the wheels?

if you raise the boost pressure up it could produse 235 at the wheels, stock.-the boost level.

I know it doesn't add up. I was told that nissan underrated the power and that the cam lift in the blacktop made more power.

Correction, the varable valve timing increased power.

i just dyno'd my s13blacktop at 1bar, and it dyno'd 225whp, 227tq... I've seen people get higher numbers, but i'm not sure if its just the dyno they used, or maybe the condition of my turbo.. that 225 also has a little bit of safc2 tuning...

with the same turbo from an s15, i've seen a car with the same motor as mine(s13blacktop) dyno around 270whp, so 235 on an s15 motor is definitely easy to achieve..

198 7 lbs of boost
227-235 14lbs of boost. depending on intake and timing adjustment.
