SR swap- MAF
 
hey.. gettin my sr redtop soon.. i was just wondering. i have a 90 fastback. do i have to rewire the MAF and if so how. or do i need a diff yr maf.

your swap should come with one, and you should only have to lengthen the wires to it. If not I know you can use a SOHC mafs but I'm not sure about the wiring of it.

the place im ordering it from sed they dont have it but they do ha ve the engine tranny harness and ecu.. thats y i wzas wondering if my maf would need to be rewired

Dude, get a clip. It will have all the parts you need. you are going to have to source a bunch of parts if you are just getting a motorset.

You will pay more in the long run for a motorset if its missing parts.

i already ordered the engine... all in all wit all the extra parts im gettin, its almost like paying for the front clip but then agen i dont have any spce in my shop for a front clip literally.
other than that does any1 noe how to wire the 90 maf to the sr to werk or its better if i get the sr maf
