sr20 from a sentra ser
sr20 from a sentra ser
a friend asked me if i was interested in a sr20 red top thats currently in a sentra se-r. the sentra body has some rot and the owner is getting rid of the engine which is in good condition. is it a possibility to use that engine in my 89 240? im a little in the fog about taking an engine that was transversed and converting it back again. im sure theres a lot of parts and madness involved. any info on the liklyhood of this working would be great. thanks
that would involve putting a transversely mounted engine FWD and putting it into a rwd drive car that would be unreal hard and invole a lot of custom fabbing. you would need to make mounts and a whole new transmission with driveshaft and mounts for it as well. lots of things to relocate too

Is it worth the $ and effort and time? No.
You could... however buy it and then sell it on a Sentra or G20 forum - that's what I'd do
Then use that $ and get stuff made for our cars Thread
