Hey guys, quick question is there anyway to get the A/C working on a S13 Red Top SR20DET? I was thinking of just going turbo with the KA but would rather get the SR20DET. I know if sound kind of dumb, but if I cannot get the A/C to work with a SR20DET I will probably just stick with the KA24DE, since I am driving this car daily. Thank you for your help in advance.

seems like the air would be a matter of a/c lines....and a little problem solving skills

 

You can make the A/C work, the sr20 compressor bolts right in, but the KA will only bolt onto like 2 or 3 holes. The lines can be fitted to work.

 

there are 2 different compressors that the 240 comes with for the s13, one will work, the other will not, if u are going to use the stock compressor with the SR compressor bracket. If u get a front clip and just transfer over all of the lines/condensor/dryer and use the SR compressor it will work fine also.
