supra engine in 180

back in japan, my brother was talking to me about swapping in a supra engine in his 180, i'm not sure what it was called. had some. jz or whatever (can you tell me what it is) and he was gonna bolt on this 25psi turbo he got off of those freight trucks in japan. i just wanna know if this is all possible. because i'm not sure a supra engine can fit. he tells me it will work though. i also thought it would be a bad idea for some reason. like it'd be too heavy or something.

yay or nay

if its the mkIV supra engine then its the 2jz-gte, with enough money to do the custom fab needed it could fit. With enough money, anythings possible. The 2jz-gte is an excellent engine to work with, damn thing can take a beating. Personally though, if I was going to swap in an inline 6, I'd just go with one of the RB's.

exhaust is on the other side, so it moves it away, as long as its a USDM car. if he is in japan and doing it on a 180, he will be doing just the opposite, he will be putting it close to all that stuff.

alot of the guys are putting 1jz's into the 240s from what i have seen, because they are a lil lighter, spool up faster and have a higher rev limit how do i know???? i have 1 in my 91 supra
