Could you put a VG30DETT (300zx TT) into a 240 sx s14 or 4th gen maxima? 240 and 4th gen maximas are some of my favorite cars and i was just wondering if you could take the 300 tt engine and put it in one of these cars.

And if that wont work then how much should a SR20DET black top cost. Yes i know there are many variables that i didnt list but whats an average price?

 

Ok, well the VG30DE will fit in both, just very snug. The TT is said not to fit. Search around anf you'll get more answers. A member put in a VG30DET in his S13 Silvia. However, it's a very hared job to do. Custom everything. The topic's been discussed many times. Search around.

AS for a Z32 engine in a maxima, ha! That sounds almost imposible.

The VG30E will fit in the Maxima right? I've seen a VG30E fit in some sort of maxima, just forgot which one.

 

But this has nothing to do with the Z32 engine

I own and love my 95 se maxima. Don't ever ask about the vg30 swap on maxima.org. Just a heads up.the vg30 and vq30 have alot of differences. I don't think it's possible without alot of money. as for an sr20 in a max. I don't see a 2.0l turbo putting out enough torque for a 3000lb+ car.

 

i have a 2k2 max....i think it would be better to try to put the vq35 in the older gens... man...havn't been in maxima.org in like a LOng *** time...a few yrs
