wiring problems with engine swap
 

I swapped the KA24DE out of my wife's 92 s13 with an automatic into an 89 s-13 with a 5 speed. I followed the engine swap guide off of this website. but the engine still won't run.

Is there a difference in the engine wiring harness with a 5 speed and an automatic??

is the 89 chassis auto originally?if it is,converting to manual trans there is a plug you would have to jump a wire back into it so your starter will cranks over.the plug its by the fuse box next to the overflow bottle.but you figure out which plug is by the book or the guide you have.
