hey guys, i just tried doing this brown wire mod.. but wheni popped my the light button out.. it doesn't come out enough to show the wires....... i can't even pull it out.... is there another way i can reach the brown wire from under the hood or something? i just can't seem to get to it from the switch part.

it feels like i'll rip the wires out if i pull any harder... it's weird. i saw that clip, and there's like a couple inches of wires showing.. mine, wheni pull, there's still plastic haha, that's all i can pull out to...... :S what can i do?

do you have cruise control..?

if so, i think you're ****ed...

if yours doesnt have it like mine, take off the flimsy plastic cover on the bottom, get a light, some very small pliers and go at it from there...

i have cruise control and managed to pull the wires out. just pull a little harder and move it towards the right side until the wire is exposed.

that's the problem, i pulled as hard as i could without it ripping, i can actually feel the wires expanding a bit like elastics you know.. i dunno.. i think i might just go get some switches later..

why would he be ****ed if he has cruies control, I have CC and I can do it fine, if you can't pull the button out far enough just try taking apart the gauge cluster part, the wires may be caught on something.

dude, pull that panel thats under the steering column off and trace the wire to there, its in the loomed wires right in front of your face... easier to cut, solder and wire down there anyways

i just figured out i cant do the brown wire thing, i think it has something to do with my relay being toast... and the green wire sucks, your lights get all uneven

there are several screws that hold the bottom panel on, if you want to take it all the way off one is behind the kick panel
