He has a 90 turbo supra with jspec engine and i have no clue what hes gonna do to it. and im currently droping a sr20det s13 blacktop. im gonna bore it out to a 2.2 ross forged pistons, rings, rods( i think crank can hold good boost)hks 264 step2 cams (should i get same exhaust/intake or vary?? ive seen some people put 264 in 256 out dunot know y) greddy pulleys, costum made turbo manifold (thinking of making twin turbo) greddy intake manifold,i think 555cc injectors are good but if im making a twin turbo should i get 740 or higher? and ferrea double titanium valve springs + misc stuff intercooler dp 3" pipes cluch flyweel i have a year to get all this done  technically his car weighs almost 900 punds more than my car so i should stand a chance i hope any recomendations on twin turbo set up welcome ill post pics when im getting stuff done :thumb:

stick to a single snail. and your set up is a good choice.

dam 1k bet?
i wish i had that kind of money to bet and spend on my car

Hmmm heavy bohemoth with a nice I6 under it or a lightweight sprinter with a good I4 in it. Depends on how each is built up. And TT on an I4 is over kill. Just go single turbo.

Like everyone said, I4 with a single turbo is the way to go.

What kind of stuff is being done to the Supra? BTW, isn't the SR20 sleeved? So you would have to change the sleeves to "bore" it out...I could be wrong

Yes you are correct. The SR is sleeved. Most Aluminum engines are.

fastest car in what meaning?... 1/4 mile? are u guys gonna actually race? if you wanna go hardcore and run 9s easy i suggest u copy the same Sr20det set up as Garage rise-up or rs-takagi (they run 9s with stock body!)

Just drop a tomei engine in your 240 and you will do well lol

QR25DE 09-28-2004 01:16 PM

ahahahahah yea! HyJynX is right..

rudee023 09-28-2004 02:16 PM

Is their a budget you guys agreed upon? If not, why not start out with an RB?

:werd: Supra motors can get pretty bad hp.

chiroke 09-28-2004 05:28 PM

no there is no budget its gonna be actually 2 things 1/4 mile a actual race point A to point B and who is cooler drifting (WHA!) umm i was thinking about the sleeve thing u guys said about boring it out so ill have to check on that. but i doubt he'll do much cause hes always broke from parting and i dont want to drop a rb kinda expensive i rather build up a motor.

chiroke 09-28-2004 05:29 PM

oh bty can sr20det spool a t60?? under 4krpm?

-HyJynX- 09-28-2004 07:40 PM

I've seen SR's that have T-67's hooked up on it, but don't know when the boost really kicks in. I do know that they run Nitrous to counteract the lag that there is.
