'93 240sx 32k for $5600?

would you guys pay $5600 for a '93 240sx SE 5 speed w/ 32,000 miles? It seems to be pretty consistant w/ other 240s but really high compared to what www.Kbb.com had to say.. I guess its been garaged pretty much its whole life... any thoughts?

For that mileage (depending on the condition of the car) it may be worth it. Every part would have to be perfect for me to even consider spending that kind of money for a 93 though.

I prefer to buy cheap becasue most of the parts are getting replaced anyway, however if you want a collector 240 that would be a decent buy.

It's only worth what you wanna pay for it. Without seeing the car in person I really could not give any specific advice on it.

Ehh.

I payed $5500 for my 95 SE model in almost perfect condition, only thing is it had 104k miles on it.

right now im working on a '93 with 25,000 miles. the blue book in excellent condition is 3,300. however i think its worth more than that because of the reliability. the guy wants 2,500 bucks for it, but its been sitting for 3-5 years. i had a mechanic look at it and it needs approx $1,300 to get it into daily running condition(catback, tires, rotors, pads, battery, belts). when i called the guy, i subtracted 1,300 from the price he offered to get around 1,300. he didnt like that and called me obsurd haha. now he says hes going to ship it to his niece. he doesnt believe it needs that much work apparantly...he said "i just put a new battery in!" [which was probably 3 years ago cuz when we tried to start it it wouldnt go]. so im going to try and call him back and make an offer of 2000 after the mechanic talks to him.

that price seems kind of high for that car considering its age. however if u can talk them down it seems like a great buy considering the motors are so good. maybe tell them the blue book on it and offer to split it the difference?

Dont buy it...unless you can get him down to 4k
