Airbags
 

I've searched here and on 240SXforums.com, and so far I've come to the conclusion that S13s didn't have airbags. Is this correct?

as far as I've known, that is correct - no airbags until the 19995 S14... not sure about any non-U.S. 180sx built after 1995, but I doubt they had them (or do they?) :shock:

All US 89-94 240SX's didn't have airbags

This is a serious problem...my dad's buying my old altima so I can buy a 240...I have my doubts as to whether or not he'll let me get one if it doesn't have an airbag...and no, I cannot afford an S14.

Headache begins.

Oh well...I gotta try!

go to a junkyard and rip off the airbag emblems, then um...slap them on...bam u got airbags

...Heh...my father is not the sort of person that you want to lie to. He's not the Incredible Hulk, but making him angry is still not a good idea.

OK a couple more questions before I give up and splurge for a S14.

Are there aftermarket airbag retrofit kits?

Would it be possible/feasable to take an airbag system out of an S14 and install it in an S13?

I have my heart set on an S13 at the moment, is the reason I ask.
