BIG TRIP - What to check on?

Ok, I'm driving to Wisconsin on June 23rd. I'm going to drive the car all the way back on July 2nd. The trip one way is 1,800 miles. So yeah, the car is going quite a distance. It has done it once and survived. So, I'm hoping it can do it again.. two times.

Here is a small check list of things I have to check up;

- Wheel weight (my steering wheel goes ballistic at 60mph.)
- Tire pressure
- Also getting the piece of metal out of my tire and fixed up (damnit)
- I already changed the oil last week (so I don't need to do)
- Fluids
- Brakes

WHAT ELSE!!!!

Sorry, I don't have my dad to do all of this for me and I know he did a lot more. The spark plugs were replaced in April last year. As well as my suspension and stuff.

make sure your car doesnt overheat on the way there. is your radiator in pretty good condition? drained your coolant and add new one? do another check up on your pit stops and check for any leaks. are you going to drive with stock suspension?

I'm driving with everything stock except the bodykit, intake, and exhaust. My radiator is in very good condition. Thanks for the coolant suggestion.

Anything else I should absolutely do while I have a man present? lol

if you're that worried, go join AAA (if you haven't already) $40 is a small price to pay for peace of mind...

We already have AAA, but it's not in my name. I'm not sure if that matters or not? I do have insurance through Progressive though. They have a pretty good deal if my car breaks down too.

I would just rather not have it break down. You know? I'm going to be all by myself. I don't want some freak to like, kidnap me and kill me. That's probably a little far fetched, but you never know these days.
