It sounds like you want to fix the brake light itself.:spin:
A brake light could mean lots of things. Could be low on fluid, frozen piston, bad pads.....etc. My suggestion is to take off your wheels on all four and check to see if something is wrong.(that you can notice) If there is something.......fix it.
Do you feel/hear any vibrations/grinding/clicking noises when coming to a stop or when driving?

yeah,i actually did check fluid and pads, they are ok.What do you mean by frozen piston? What esle can be wrong?Thanx:wave:

A piston that has somehow gotten stuck(frozen) those can be fixed yourself, but you need compressed air I believe. The best thing to do is just get a brake job. When is the last time you had one if ever?

A while back my light came on and stayed on for weeks. I never noticed anything wrong with my brakes, fluid good, pads, etc. then one day I noticed a slight grinding noise when I would come to a stop. But this only happened every now and then. Gradually it got worse, so I finally decided to go for a brake upgrade instead of having it fixed.
If you havent noticed anything wrong with them yet, try resetting your ecu. Theres a thread here on how to do that. But I'm not sure if that would take care of the light.
My suggestion is to have someone look at it. Most likely they will tell you there is a problem. If so, and if you have the cash, get rid of the stock brakes and go for an upgrade. Find some 300zx brakes, those are good. Let me know what happens and if I can help any further:thumb:

Mods....wanna move this to brakes or what?

"FREE BRAKE INSPECTION" God I know I've seen those in a name brand place but I can't seem to recall the name. I'd suggest to take it there, let them sort it out for you, and when you pick up your car you'll know exactly what needs to be done. Best part is, it's free :thumb:

midas and meineke do it every now and then around here. I'm sure there is a place in LA that does it.

it's generally low brake fluid ike they said. Check your manual and it should say all the possibilities.
