like stock, if you dont have the money, save up. it will be way better in the long run. you can buy springs for $200, realize they suck, blow your struts, then need to buy new struts, at which point you realize it would be very close to buying coilovers anyways, then you will realize that you have to wait longer now, on blown struts, to save up for coilovers because: you blew $200 on springs.

a nice set of coilovers will cost you around $800-$1100, you dont have to get zeals or quantums. megan KTS or stance will be just fine.

what's the point of having coilovers if you're never going to track your car?
it doesn't even have to be on the track *cough cough*
if your car is just a daily driver and not ever going to see the touge or track, just get springs/shock combo.

the point is they are going to last longer, you get height adjustability (i duno about everyone out but mine get adjusted quite frequently), dampening for when u wana go have fun, or take your girl to dinner...and theyre balla status..

but you actually put your coilovers to use......that's what I'm trying to get. if they're not gonna be used at all.....then a spring/shock combo is better for the budget-which he says he's on.

how will he not be using them, if he atleast lowers his car to a better stance than springs and shocks would ever do, and utilizes the dampening functions for daily/spirited driving then he is using them....not to their full potential..but he is using them...

spring/shock = 600
Megans = 800

its worth it..

ps hows he gona be using his spring/shock combo then...may as well leave it stock

rota grids come in 16x8 +10 fyi
and yuta, you didn't mention grenade gx-01

but, a simple zenki lip if you dont have that already, remove the hatch spoiler, used cat-back exhaust, used coilovers or spring/shock setup make for nice cheap mods

ahhh yes, slipped my mind, thank you.

and i concur with brian, if its not going to see any kind of spirited driving might as well keep everything stock.
