calculating chp and whp questions...

ok so from what i have read about 15% HP is lost from the crank to the wheels (correct me if i am wrong here). this would put the ka24de (156 chp) at 133 whp. so my question is lets say that you have done some modifications, and just to throw out a number, you are now up to 200 chp. from this number, do you now subtract 15% again to get whp (so 170whp) or would you now subtract 23 (the difference between 156chp and 133whp) from 200chp to get 177whp?

i am wondering about this so that i can do the reverse and calculate my chp when i get dyno'd

i'm gonna say no, you can't take whp and add 15% or so and call it chp. what you can do but idk how accurate it would be is to estimate the hp based on acceleration time.

imp b(hp) is used as a marketing tool to fool people into buying cars and therefore pointless. whp is what really matters.
