Car condition Qs
 

whats up. I currently have a 89 240sx hb with ka24e. Its got 175000 miles and a rod knock. The car has been driven less than 10 miles with the rod knock.

I need to know if i rebuild my motor, if i should get another ka, or if the one i have is ok. Really all i want to know if the motor (the block/head, not the pistons and rods and such; its a rebuild;) is too badly damaged because of the rod knock or not, or if it can be easily (cheaply) fixed.

Aaaaand i want know if i posted some pics of the chassis/underneath if some one would be able to tell me if it is too rusted.

you might want to swap in the dohc engine from a later year.
