Clearcoat Headlights?
 

Hi, I have recently polished my s14 zenki headlights. I have heard and read that a clearcoat will yellow over time. I wanted to put a clearcoat on my headlights to protect them from uv rays, but if it yellows, then it is pointless. What do you guys know from experience?

it will yellow from heat.

Both from the sun and the lights itself.

Best bet is to just clean em every 6 months or so.

Thank you for that answer! I have been wondering the same thing but never could remember to ask anyone if the clear coat step you hear about actually helps or not. Now I know!
