a zenki lip really shouldn't be more than $50 used. You could see if you can find something off another older car, I've heard f350 truck lip might work

 

jacki is gonna get me a lip for an s13.

 

You could always learn to patch it... this is very helpful so you can reapair your body kit if you ever get one. or to fix your front or rear bumper. BTW, I wouldnt recommend chopping springs or welding your diff. Enjoy the smooth ride of stock suspension while you can.
