Creaking from front suspension...

Does anyone else get a creak from the front suspension when they're lightly braking and coming to a stop? Has anyone fixed it?

The samething happned to me a few months ago. I herd my right front spring start to creek so I had my friend look at it. he just adjusted the springs a bit and the noise was gone (He even lowed that side by about an inch, lol).

What about the bushings? Did you get a full coilover system or just the springs? Shocks may need replacing too...

Since this is about suspesion i guess i can post my question here also. Because i think mine is about to die....it bounces pretty bad when i take a turn fast...and no i'm not talking like 40 MPH turns either, when i take a turn onto a street in front of an oncoming car....i'm sure you know what i mean. When I bring my steering wheel to the center it rolls and wobbles kinda...it's hard to explain. Either way i wanna replace it for fear of it blowing up. That's sarcasm btw....

I've read on some threads that people are getting Tein S-Tech springs and KYB GR-2 Shocks, where would be the best place to get those parts. I've found the Teins for about $150, but the KYBs seem to come in tons of different types. I saw one for an 89-93 240SX and then ones for 91-98 240SX. The newer models are more expensive. Which should I look into getting, and where?

well I just got my KYB GR2($109) and Tein S-tech($146) from ebay. they are working great for me. just remember to put some grease between the spring and strut plate when you install it, then there won't be any cracking noise.

even thou I forgot to put the grease when I install mine. the cracking noise is gone after two day. I guess they just found their place.

springs are ok if you are on a budget, at least you did it right by upgrading your suspension while you were at it.
