Question Different 240 years

Hi guys, my first post, but been looking for a little while now.

Well, I am seriously considering to buy an S13, and was wondering the the main diff is between the 90-91-92-93's 240? Also, i might wanna keep the possibility of an RB engine swap open, wich one of these models can't do the swap? or run into the most difficulties?
Also I heard that the 90-91 is a SOHC, is it true?

Thanks.

SOHC years also had a slighty different steering rack requiring less turning lock to lock. SOHC and DOHC also had slightly different seats, different bumpers, and some other small things I can't think of....

I know that the DOHC is slightly better suited to the SR swap, with the PS lines in the right places and the Tach that will work properly. I don't know if these are also advantages for the RB swap.

1994 was convertible-only, so that's probably not the best choice for the torque of the RB.
