damn... 631 hp... that will twist an axel shaft quick... that is some power there... if you watch the video look at how that motor twists and the turbo comes up... that is power... if he could keep the rear whels from hoppin that would be one fast car in the 1/4... and i would think that it could be drifted as well...

 

 

When you leave high school and enter the real world you may one day muster up enough intelligence to realize that you are the idiot. You definately have a lot to prove if your "drifting" pride gets hurt this easily on the internet. Nowhere on this forum have I read that club240 is for drifting only. This is a forum for 240 enthusiasts. The beauty about the 240 is that it is one of the only cars that can be built on a relatively small budget and still be fiercely competetive in most motorsports.

That said, you may want to not threaten people on the board or you will probably get banned. And no matter what you say about the integrity of drifting, people like you will give anything a bad name. A little advice, quit being a hypocrit and try to move drifting forward instead of showing your *** by attacking people that think differently.

Don't just think that the KA and sr are the only swappers especially since you have an 89 240sx. You can even do easy swaps with a VG30dett, or with a CA18det. You can bore the CA to 2.0 litres and have it compete with the sr's. All these nissan engines are great engines. take the time to do the research to find what engine suits your prefrence. I can't force my opinion to what engine you wan't. It is you car personalize it the way you wan't it.
If you really wan't a drag car slap in a Corvette Callaway small block V8 TT. But I'm all Nissan, I think it is BAD KARMA. Build an engine the way you wan't it, not how we wan't it. It would defeat the purpose of competition if everybody built the same thing.

wow.....this whole thread is starting to get out of control.
for sil-freak, real drifting is a race technique. its not somthing you strut around about and wear a shirt that says look im a drifter. no i personally dont enjoy drag racing, i actually injoy doing circut races. and yes i do enjoy using using the "dorifto". and yes i will even go out and do some drifting for fun. but im not going to rag on draging. its all racing, and if thats what that person enjoys well then let it be. and actually the 240 w/ the rb motor is a perfect setup for drag w/ its light body, skyline power plant, and fwd setup.....damn near perfect. and yes if done right the 240 is a great platform for drifting to, but no better than a supra or an ae86. damn racing is racing but the most import thing thats makes a true car inthusiest is just the love of thier cars and thier will to drive. sorry about my spelling im really tired. and come on guys dont let club240 turn into clubcivic. if i was a moderator i would close this whole thread. its pointless.
