Exhaust...
Exhaust...
Howdy people...
My friend is starting to look for parts for his 240SX which he has not yet gotten. His first major mod is going to be his cat-back exhaust system...
He eventually plans to swap in a SR20DET, but right now, that's probably not going to happen for a while... My question to you all is, what type of exhaust are you running and what do you think is good out there?

i've got a 3" turbo back exhaust with a catco high flow cat. and a meagan racing 3" inlet can on the back. dude all youre going to accomplish with an apex, blitz, hks, or greddy muffler is to spend more money. all any "tuned muffler is is a glass pack. thier all straight through pipes with a perforated or louvered pipe inside of a glass packed can. so regaurless of brand name they are almost all the same. and if your goin force induction you dont want some weeny 2.5" pipe. ur turbo provides plenty of back pressure espcially if its that snail shell sized stock T-28. theyres a reason why most turbo cars will put an exhaust cut out b4 the cat. they dont want the back pressure. so save some cash man and go with a none name brand muffler. hell theyre simple i can have my buddy weld one up for you. any way i save a couple hundred prolly by goin with my meagan. my muffle was like $86 shipped and then prom the turbo back like another $150 for pipe. then my catalytic converter for another $40. = way better exhaust for less than ur gonna pay for just a cat back.
