Exhaust rattle while decelerating...
 

Hey guys, something just started happening on my 91 240sx fastback and its pissin me off...... When I accelerate, the car`s exhaust sounds alright but when I let off the gas, the exhaust makes a big loud ass sound like a fart can pipe n it also shakes a little more than usual.. It almost sounds like something is clogging my catalytic converter or suttin. Also, this stock exhaust is starting to rust and fall apart but it should still hold up for a couple months b4 i upgrade to apexi n1 duals. What should I do about this wierd clogged up sound?

i'm no genius, but it might have something to do with that rust that you speak of, most likely a hole in the exhaust. If it's loud and shakes than thats probably it, like you stated.

yaa.. I guess i`ll just buy exhaust now.... www.improvmotorsports.com has n1 duals for $506.25 so ima order from them. Should i buy a new high flow cat too while im at it?
