Forged pistons?

I'm lookin to build up my ka and stay n/a. I've been lookin around alot for possibly 11:1 pistons but i cant seem to find them. Can anyone direct me to a sight. I want my car to run in mid 14's and i'll be happy. Any thoughts.

Stock compression on a ka is 9:1 right?
http://www.xatracing.com/store/produ...roducts_id=230
those injectors any good?
And correct me if i'm wrong, but dont you normally use lower compression on f/i engines

there are a few schools of thought on compression ratios and turbo applications... i would say not to go above stock compression if you are going the fi route... the main reason is that controlling detonation under boost is hard to control... the higher the compression ratio and higher the boost pressure the more prone to detonation... i have seen 12 psi of boost on a motor running 10.0 to 1 compression ratio... to me that is way too high a pressure under the head...

9.0 to 1 would get you good results... as well as forged pistons and rods...

sard makes quality parts... so the injectors would be a good idea if you have the other mods to make them of use...

arias piston part number 3520520 10.7 cr .20 over bore

and nissan has a set that require machine work to get the desired compression ratio,,, here is the link for that...

here is a cheaper route to take with the sohc pistons... 155.00
http://www.hybridka.com/sohcoem.htm
and for the sohc connecting rods...148.00
http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...s-nissan2.html
as far as hp gains... i have seen as much as 22 hp per half point of increased compression... in this case it would work out to about 50 hp... but that is a maximum number and you might not see that much of an increase... to get the most out of this you should have the head ported and polshed... which will in turn gain you more power...

Can u use sohc pistons in a dohc? Also how much u think it would cost to get them installed, i know a couple of mechanics and i would get a hookup, but u think it could be done in 1 day without pullin the engine?
