friends 240 slow through 1st
 

Hey whats up, Iam thinking about buying my friend 91 240sx. It has a few problems though. It has the usual small dents here and there. The tranny has a slight grind when you shift in to 5th. The car makes a poping noise when turing. The guy i might get the car from says is because of his coilovers he put on there. He put them in with out the bushinngs. But anyways my biggest concern is that the car hesitate through 1st gear. I mean it feels really slow and takes a lot longer to get out of first then it does in my altima. Do you have any clue what that could be. Or is it just normal?? o and the box is swiss cheesed. I wouldnt think that has anything to do with it lagging does it ??

and the grinding in 5th.. you need to change your pilot and t/o bearings.. change the clutch while your at it :D replace it with an ACT 6-puck :thumb: thats what i did when i had to change my clutch
