Fuel Pump questions

Whats up people? I'm new to this forum and this car and I've a bit of a problem. My 91 240SX coupe has a bad fuel pump. I was told that by removing the rear seat, there sould be a panel that exposes the pump underneath. Is this true? If not how do I get it out?

Also I've been shopping around and noticed that the price of a replacement pump will go from $81USD to roughly $400. Any idea why this is?

Any help would be great, thanks guys.

Is this the same in both the hatch and fast back models?
