How the hell do you get it out? My HUD and dash lights don't work, and I've got replacements to put in (new HUD projector and gauge cluster) but I can't get the bloody cluster surround out.

I've got it loose (no more screws holding it), have the wheel tilted all the way down, and even took the trim off the top of the steering column, but I can't seem to maneuver the trim out of the way. Do I need to unbolt the ignition lock cylinder, or what?

It's a huge pain in the ***. You have to unbolt the front 2 bolts that hold up the steering column. After that yank it out and do some fancy maneuvers and it will come out. Just take your time.
