getting a 1989-1992 240SX automatic

I'm getting a 1989-1992 240SX automatic. I was wondering cuz the auto's are generally with the 2.4 L KA24E engine since ive never looked into this engine is it compatable with a turbo or the alternative is that I would swap out the KA24E for an SR20DET which is eventually wat i want. Any reccomendations and if i keep the KA24E wat type of turbo should i have. The HP range i want is from 350-650HP on low PSI. If any of you have auto's with it let me know wat you did and maybe I can get some ideas.

Thanks.

WOW.

350-650HP? thats like saying you want a girl who is anywhere from 4'11 80 pounds to 6'5 700 pounds.

why an auto? cuz you cant drive stick but just saw "tokyo drift" and decided you want a drift car?

and no, the KA24E is not compatible with a turbo. wtf? how can a motor not be compatible to be turbocharged? if people are turbocharging F20Cs and 4AG-Es what would make you think a KA24E cant be turboed.

its great your interested in the 240sx and all but cmon, do a little research so you dont embarass yourself.

i know the sr20det i never thought of getting an auto that has the ka24e at all but i dont wanna have to go through transmissions by gearing down all the time wen im in the damn traffic. and the reason i want the power isnt cuz i watch tokyo drift or any of the other fnf movies ive just always like powerful cars.

LOL! 650hp not happening on low boost man. thats way too much car. dont shoot for big numbers to boost your ego or impress your friends. have you ever DRIVEN anything over 600hp? 500hp? 400hp? without traction control?

yeah, dude. just take it SLOW and get to know the car and its limits, esp in the rain. then tune. dont do anything stupid and youll be fine. i know you young kids think youve got something to prove to the world. weve all been there. just dont build a car thats out of your capability or youll shunt before you can blink. itll be definately worth your while to take performance driving classes. sure you can just get mods but i think the most overlooked mistake we all do is not invest in our abilities as a driver. cars come and go but knowing how to drive is forever

Just my 2 cents. I would worry about the suspension and drive train first before horse power. It will have to handle the horse power. And don't forget the brakes, you will have to stop all that horsepower. Then turbo the ka.

if i were you i'd worry about suspension and brakes first then the power because you dont need power to drift. well maybe a little but still, i'd turbo the ka because i think it has more potential than the sr (if you really know to do with the ka motor.) but thats just me, do what you desire. its gonna be alot of $$$ so make sure you got lots of green stuff.

why would you want to waste money building a powerful 240sx when you could put all that money into a foxbody or IROC and get much better results. to be blunt, if you want a super powerful car, and that is your main goal, the 240sx is not the car for you.
