Unhappy Getting my 240 out of 3 year storage...help!

Upon my deployment to Germany, I left my beloved 240 fastback 1989 in storage for 3 years.....I know some of you will probably call me names and think that Im crazy...but I love my car. And I tried to do things right by consulting another 240SX maillist in the past and research all and applied all the preparation for a successful storage of my little "cocoon"...... for example:

Car is resting on jacks
battery disconnected
took spark plugs out and lube cylinder with one Tbp. oil each
fully enclosed storage facility with car cover on additionally
full tank gas with fuel preserver to control rust in tank
dehydrator in engine and cockpit to stop humidity and bad odor
cover airbox and muffler to prevent critters from nesting

I already know some of the things I need to do when I get back to my car in order to get ib back on the road, but open to suggestions from the experts in this forum to any additional prep .......... I also have questions in the some mods for my car but I will make that a differrent posting due to the length of this one, sorry ..........
Car info: 1989, very clean, no custom mods, only custom springs, low mileage (60,000 miles) timing chain replaced right before went into storage. Never had any problems, car runs great, I love it....

Sounds like you did a lot more prep work than most.

Get the car running and chase down any gremlins that arise.

I suggest using the Search function because a thread that starts talking about paint somehow wanders into talking about turbos and suspension. You will save time from reading it all. Trust me I read every post.

Also look into improving on the most common problems our cars suffer from.

Good luck.

You might want to check out the brakes because sometimes when you start driving the rotors become easily warped since they haven't been used (well that's my experience anyway) Might want to wash and wax that bad boy down and maybe even give it a good tuneup and you should be cool.
